Fixed & Removal Denture

Fixed and removable dentures are two common solutions for replacing missing teeth and restoring oral function and aesthetics. Each type offers unique benefits and considerations, catering to the individual needs and preferences of dental patients.
Fixed dentures, also known as dental bridges or implant-supported crowns, are prosthetic devices that are permanently attached to existing teeth or dental implants. They are typically recommended when a patient is missing one or more teeth but still has healthy teeth adjacent to the gap.

The process of getting fixed dentures involves several steps:

Initial Assessment: The dentist examines the patient’s oral health, including the condition of surrounding teeth and gums, and discusses treatment options.

Preparation: If the adjacent teeth are healthy, they may need to be reshaped to accommodate the crowns that will anchor the bridge. If dental implants are used, they will be surgically placed in the jawbone.

Impressions: Impressions of the teeth are taken to create a custom-fit bridge that matches the patient’s natural teeth in size, shape, and color.

Fabrication: The bridge is fabricated in a dental laboratory based on the impressions and specifications provided by the dentist.

Placement: Once the bridge is ready, it is permanently cemented onto the prepared teeth or attached to the dental implants.
