Fixed & Removal Denture
The process of getting fixed dentures involves several steps:
Initial Assessment: The dentist examines the patient’s oral health, including the condition of surrounding teeth and gums, and discusses treatment options.
Preparation: If the adjacent teeth are healthy, they may need to be reshaped to accommodate the crowns that will anchor the bridge. If dental implants are used, they will be surgically placed in the jawbone.
Impressions: Impressions of the teeth are taken to create a custom-fit bridge that matches the patient’s natural teeth in size, shape, and color.
Fabrication: The bridge is fabricated in a dental laboratory based on the impressions and specifications provided by the dentist.
Placement: Once the bridge is ready, it is permanently cemented onto the prepared teeth or attached to the dental implants.
